High-Altitude Imaging LLC — Precision heat mapping for roofs, solar & structures

OSHA 30 Certified Part 107 Certified

Overview

We use radiometric thermal cameras to detect temperature anomalies that indicate moisture intrusion, insulation gaps, electrical faults, and overheating components. Our workflow includes environmental checks (time of day, delta‑T) to ensure reliable results and clear, defensible reports.

Capabilities

Roof Moisture Surveys

  • Evening/early‑night flights for optimal delta‑T
  • Thermal overlays atop orthomosaics
  • Moisture suspect polygons with annotations

Solar PV Diagnostics

  • String/module hotspot detection
  • Bypass diode & junction anomalies
  • PDF defect maps with panel row indexing

Building Envelope

  • Insulation gaps & thermal bridging
  • Air leakage paths around openings
  • Pre/post remediation comparison

Electrical & Mechanical

  • Overheated connections & bearings
  • Load imbalance indicators
  • Prioritization of maintenance actions

Disaster Assessment

  • Hidden fire hotspots & residual heat
  • Water intrusion mapping post‑storm
  • Time‑stamped evidence for claims

QA & Methodology

  • Radiometric capture with emissivity settings
  • Weather & surface condition controls
  • Spot/box measurements with temperature readouts

Workflow

1) Plan

  • Define objectives: roof moisture, PV, envelope, MEP
  • Set environmental window (sunset/night; delta‑T ≥ 10°F when possible)
  • Safety, airspace, and site coordination

2) Capture

  • Thermal + RGB passes (nadir & oblique)
  • Radiometric settings, focus & calibration checks
  • Ground spot checks where applicable

3) Process

  • Orthomosaic + thermal alignment in WebODM
  • Suspect area segmentation & labeling
  • Temperature statistics (min/avg/max) per finding

4) Deliver

  • PDF report with annotated thermal images
  • GeoTIFF overlays & viewer link
  • CSV of measurement tables on request

Deliverables

Standard Set

  • Annotated thermal image set (PDF)
  • Thermal overlay aligned to ortho (GeoTIFF)
  • Summary of findings with guidance

Optional Add‑Ons

  • PV defect indexing by row/string
  • Moisture verification via spot temp logs
  • Pre/post remediation comparisons
